I-Trans stock a large range of British Standard sprockets (Type B) and platewheels (Type A). They are pilot bored and manufactured in medium tensile steel. The standard range includes the following sizes:
Simplex, Duplex and Triplex in 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and 1" pitches, and Simplex and Duplex in
1 1/4" and 1 1/2" pitch.
The engineering services offer bore, keyway, set screws and flame hardening. In addition they offer taper lock boring, and will manufacture special or customised sprockets to a client's requirements. Special sprockets include: 3/8" to 2 1/2" pitch plus metric, multi strand sprockets, profile cut/agricultural/irrigation sprockets, platewheels for motorbikes. Teeth segments, split and slat top sprockets. The above can be manufactured in all grades of steel, nylon, stainless steel, and cast iron.
