Sizes: I-trans stock 8 sizes from 70 through to 280 in taper lock and standard bore configurations.

Installation: This is straightforward with no special tools required. Only a hexagon wrench is needed. Maintenance is largely eliminated and no lubrication is required.

Misalignmnet: The HRC coupling accommodates incidental misalignment.

General: The HRC Coupling is made from High Grade Cast Iron which allows for safe and durable running under the stated conditions. Peak loads are reduced by a flexible element, and in the unlikely event of this being destroyed the drive will be maintained by the inner action of the integrally cast driving dogs.

Notes on HRC shaft coupling:

  1. For speeds below 500 rpm check your coupling selection on rated torque adn kW/100 rpm selection basis.
  2. For speeds below 100 rpm select the coupling on the maximum torque rating.
  3. If the power or torque rating is not known and the coupling drive shafts are steel, as a guide you can base your selection on the couplings largest shaft diameter capacity. If there are any capacity doubts, choose a coupling the next size up.
